Mary Hull Webster presents the first book in an ongoing novel about her characters, Lucia and Hugo. Lucia is an artist and Hugo is a musician. The book incorporates text and image in the telling of the tale which will unfold in a variety of media. The first part of the story is told through the voice of Loge their androgenous butler, who has discovered in himself “a capacity for generosity and devotion to the well-being of others” in his work with Lucia and Hugo. He is clearly very fond of them both.
