Elizabeth Sher is a multimedia artist whose prints and paintings have been shown at many university art museums and at the San Francisco and San Jose Museums of Art, with solo shows in San Francisco and across the country. Her films and videos have been screened and broadcast nationally and internationally.

She has been honored with grants from the National Endowment for the Arts, the American Film Institute, the Western Regional Media Arts Fellowship Fund, the Zellerbach Family Fund, the Anheuser-Busch Foundation, the Pioneer Fund, and the Union of Independent Colleges of Art.
